Weddings
Hillhouse is a dream venue for a wedding. It is a once in a lifetime venue for a once in a lifetime commitment. We believe that weddings do not "come in packages". We will cater for any individual whatever their needs and do our upmost to create a truly wonderful and unique wedding for you.
Hillhouse can cater for smaller weddings of up to 40 guests in our magnificent Ballroom and Reception Rooms. For those that wish for a larger marquee wedding we can cater from 50-350 guests.
Typically the couple will meet with the manger initially to discuss numbers, budgets and general ideas. The manager will then assist the bride and bridegroom in creating the perfect wedding with the ideas that develop from that meeting. At Hillhouse we use a select range of caterers, photographers, florists, marquee firms, bands and wine suppliers all of whom have been tried and tested and who meet the very high standards we require here.
Our manager here puts a huge amount of effort into the organisation of each wedding. No wedding is the same. His experience will help lessen the burden on the bride and bridegroom and their families in the organisation and the run up to the big day.
At Hillhouse there are no hidden add-ons or extra costs. We charge no corkage, guests don't have to leave by midnight and there are no noise restrictions.
At Hillhouse we try our very best to be flexible so that each couple getting married here can choose exactly how they want their wedding to run. We understand that a wedding is a huge day in a person's life, which is why we put so much effort into making each and every wedding a memorable one. For this reason and in order to maintain the very high standards at Hillhouse and to make sure the venue is perfect for every wedding, we do limit the number of weddings we have here each year.
