Hillwalking

HillwalkingAlthough the highest peak in Scotland, Ben Nevis, is just 4406feet (1344m) Scotland is acknowledged to have some of the most stunning hill walking and mountaineering routes in the world. The fickle nature of the Scottish weather means that even the 'easiest' of routes should not be undertaken lightly.

One of the most stunning peaks to climb is Goatfell (2866feet) on the Isle of Arran where upon reaching the top you will be rewarded by spectacular views of the island and, on a clear day, across to Ben Lomond, Jura and the coast of Ireland
